Pork Goulash
Ingredients:
2 tb flour
1 ts paprika
1/2 ts pork
1 lb cubed boneless pork
1 tb vegetable oil
1 cup water
1/2 ts caraway seed
1/8 ts pepper
16 oz can sauerkraut, drained
1 medium onion, sliced
2 1/2 cups uncooked egg noodles
1 cup dairy sour cream
Directions:
In a small bowl, combine the flour, paprika, and salt, then toss the meat in the mixture to coat it.
In a large saucepan, brown the meat in hot oil.
Add water, caraway seed, pepper, sauerkraut, and onion, then mix well.
Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, cook the egg noodles according to the directions on the package.
Add the pasta and sour cream to the meat mixture, and stir to combine.
Cook until thoroughly heated, but do not allow to boil.
