Puget Sound Salmon Chowder
Ingredients:
1 cup cooked and flaked salmon
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
1 clove garlic
3 tbsp margarine
1 cup diced potato
1/2 cup shredded carrot
2 cups chicken broth
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dill weed
1 can (17 oz) cream style corn
1 can (13 oz) evaporated milk
Directions:
Sauté the celery, onion, pepper, and garlic in margarine until the onion is clear.
Add the potatoes, carrots, chicken broth, and seasonings.
Simmer for 20 minutes, then add the corn, salmon, and evaporated milk or cream.
Heat thoroughly and serve.
